The Viking Birch Mid WP, or Waterproof, is a good choice when you want to give your child barefoot shoes built with almost no cushioning or support. Feet strengthen naturally when the shoe isn’t doing the work for them.

The Birch Mid’s collar keeps debris and splashes out. The Watershield membrane protects against moisture.

The wearer doesn’t need to know how to tie laces yet: The integrated elastic laces are combined with an easy-to-use velcro tab.
